Born in McKinney, Texas, J. Michael Tatum discovered a passion for acting at a tender age, his formative years a whirlwind of stage productions and guerilla filmmaking. Snagged by the gravitational pull of voice-over, and with more than two-hundred roles to his credit in just over a decade, Tatum has become best known for such characters as Sir Hammerlock in Borderlands 2, Sebastian Michaelis of Black Butler, Commander Erwin Smith from Attack on Titan (aired on Cartoon Network), France from Hetalia: Axis Powers, and Fredrick Burnaby in Empire of Corpses, along with many, many others.
